give with mili (Pty) Ltd
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the give with mili platform ("mili", "we", "us", or "our"), operated by give with mili (Pty) Ltd, a private company incorporated in the Republic of South Africa (Registration Number: 2025 / 336690 / 07).
By accessing, browsing, or using the Platform in any manner - including scanning any mili-generated QR code - you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must immediately cease use of the Platform.
By accessing or using the Platform, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under South African law.
The Platform is intended for use by persons who are 18 years of age or older. If you are under 18, you may use the Platform only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf and accepts responsibility for your use of the Platform.
mili may suspend, restrict, or decline access where it reasonably believes that a user does not meet these requirements.
For purposes of these Terms:
mili is a technology-enabled digital giving platform designed to facilitate voluntary, cashless giving between Givers and Recipients.
mili acts solely as a facilitator of information and connection. mili does not participate in the financial clearing, settlement, or custody of any transaction.
mili is not a bank, mutual bank, or financial services provider as defined under South African law. mili facilitates payments exclusively through Ozow (Pty) Ltd, a licensed payment service provider, which manages fund collection, temporary holding, and disbursement on mili's behalf.
Specifically, mili does not:
All payments are collected by Ozow into a designated float account and disbursed to Recipients via Ozow's Payout API. mili does not have direct access to or control over these funds beyond instructing Ozow to process disbursements.
All payments are processed by Ozow (Pty) Ltd. When a Giver initiates a payment, they are redirected to a secure Ozow payment environment. Funds are collected by Ozow into a designated float account maintained on mili's behalf, and subsequently disbursed to the relevant Recipient's bank account or mobile wallet via Ozow's Payout API.
mili:
Use of any PSP is governed exclusively by that PSP's own terms, conditions, and privacy policies.
Givers acknowledge that:
mili does not guarantee that payments will be successful, timely, reversible, or error-free.
Any payment disputes, reversals, chargebacks, or failures must be resolved directly with the relevant PSP. mili does not mediate or adjudicate payment disputes.
Because giving through the Platform is voluntary and funds are disbursed to Recipients, contributions are generally non-refundable.
Where a payment fails, is duplicated, or is disputed, the matter must be raised directly with the relevant PSP, whose terms and processes govern any reversal or refund. As mili does not hold Giver funds, it cannot itself reverse, refund, or recall a completed payment.
Recipients may be provided with unique QR codes linked to their mili profiles.
While mili implements reasonable technical and administrative safeguards, Givers acknowledge that:
mili is not liable for losses arising from such tampering or misuse. Givers are encouraged to verify the Recipient's name and details displayed by the PSP before confirming payment.
All payments facilitated through the Platform are entirely voluntary.
mili:
Givers make payments at their own discretion and risk.
Payments made via the Platform are voluntary donations or gifts.
Recipient profiles are provided for informational purposes only.
mili:
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
Nothing in these Terms creates or implies:
between mili and any Giver or Recipient.
Recipients act independently and do not represent or speak on behalf of give with mili (Pty) Ltd.
The Platform may display features marked as "coming soon", "preview", or "under development".

mili may update or amend these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Platform, our services, or applicable law.
The current version, including its version number and "last updated" date, will always be available on the Platform. Where changes are material, we will indicate this by updating the version and date shown at the top of these Terms.
Your continued use of the Platform after any revised Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Platform.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
mili's failure or delay in enforcing any provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of that provision or of its right to enforce it at any later time.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and mili regarding your use of the Platform, and supersede all prior discussions, understandings, or agreements relating to its subject matter.
